Image of the Maker

I am off on another little trip. I am heading up to North Carolina to a retreat center for an overnight...the theme is "Image of the Maker" and is a time of gathering with other creative women to encourage each other in reflecting Jesus in artful living. Only 75 women will be there...and Ann Voskamp will be speaking.

This time is all-gift and all-grace. I feel humbled and blessed to go and soak it all in...I somehow think I won't want to leave :)

May you find creative inspiration this weekend...to reflect His beauty, creativity and grace in this world and draw others to the Source of all things good.

Oh my, I am trying really hard not to be filled with envy!! My husband told me a few months ago that he wanted me to be free to attend some sort of womens and/or mothering conference. When I did some searching I came up with the conference you are attending, but was so disappointed to find out it was already sold out. :( I will be praying you are richly blessed during your time there. Do you know of any other good conferences this next year? I am still in pursuit of a good fit for me.
Thanks & Blessings to you!

Have fun! You will adore Ann Voskamp! I met her when I spoke at the Relevant Conference back in October where she was a keynote speaker.

P.S. I'm really trying not to be jealous! haha

Enjoy! I celebrate that you will be in that beautiful setting, you, beautiful you, with Ann, beautiful Ann. :)

You know that I featured both of you in Not So Fast?! I know beauty and blessing when I see it.

It was wonderful to meet you, if only for a few moments at the very end.

I hope now that the seed has been planted, our connection can grow and bloom!

Hi Aimee ~ it was great fun sitting at your table for dinner Friday night. I am still so impress with that cute necklace you made! So excited to find your blog and can't wait to spend some time here. Hope you are settling back in to "real" life and embracing your giftedness.
