Right now, I am...
:: feeling nauseous because I am expecting baby #6!
:: grieving the loss of our dog Daisy...she was hit by a car last week and we are so sad.
:: reading Fanny Flagg novels to keep my mind off of how sick and sad I feel.
:: thanking God for new little life, daily graces, and that He sustains in grief and sickness.
:: dreaming of summer and learning to can tomatoes and fruit jams...this book inspires me.
:: loving sending and receiving letters with some of you...it's a real treat!

Congratulations Amy! I'm sorry for the loss of your Daisy. I hope you're feeling better soon, and you have a wonderful weekend with your friends!
Love,
Kathi
Oh my, Aimee. I know just how you feel about your Daisy, as we lost our Lucy to drowning in April last year. :( It still rattles me sometimes when I (involuntarily) think of it.. Unexpected deaths are hard like that. {{{hugs}}} to you, your husband, and children.
Here's to feeling better soon, knowing God's grace, and sunshiney, spring days to lift your mood.
ahhh!!! a weekend with andrea and laurel...fabulous! happy for you to have something so great to look forward to during these days of feeling yuck.
much love, aimee,

Congratulations on beautiful, wonderful, newly formed LIFE! :) I'm insanely jealous. And happy happy happy for you.
Did you read "Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe"? Is it worth a read?
Congratulations Aimee!! I am so very excited for you! But also so sad the loss of your beloved pet. Animals are so special. I hope the queasies leave you soon, to be replaced with a super cool bump and fluttery little kicks from the beautiful human being growing in there :) xx
Congratulations on that new little life growing inside you! I pray the nausea passes quickly.
I'm so sorry about Daisy.
Congratulations, Aimee!! Praying that you feel better soon. Blessings on your pregnancy.
Congratulations, Aimee. I haven't "met" you but I have read your blog from time to time. I'm expecting as well (Sept) with twins (plus 4 others). Hope you feel better soon. Have fun in Asheville---I live about half an hour from there. It's a neat place.

Dear Amy,
What happy news that you are expecting number six!
Those first days are so exciting, aren't they, while you get used to the idea of a whole new person around the corner. Hope you feel better soon. Rest up and eat well when you can. I always loved being pregnant AFTER that first bleurgy bit was over!
Commiserations on the loss of your dear Daisy.
