Hi Aimee, I've read your blog for a long time now (through Tonia and Ann) and have never commented. Sorry! What's wrong with me?..I don't know!
Anyhow, I just wanted to say, "Way to go, Martha"! We have backyard chickens and it seems silly but it was SOOO exciting when they first started to lay. I think I took a dozen pictures of that first egg and her layer, Mabel.

I loved the mess pictures, especially the. Heerios, that's one to blow up and hang in the hallway. We have to cele rate these littles while they are still little!
Yipee! It's so fun to raise chickens~ Our girls are laying 6-8 eggs a day now. Now if our Buffs and Americaunas would kick in, we can start to sell some to friends :)
Well, she did it. Our dear sister Martha laid her first egg. We are all extremely proud of her...hugs, cheering and photo-taking all in her honor!
